We will never go back, which is unfortunate because the food was good. We went to Juniper at the recommendation of a family member. My husband went on to say, I am not accusing you of intentionally watering down your drinks, just that it tasted watered down, To which the second manager smirked and said, you just said we water down our drinks. My husband said that they had no flavor, that they tasted watered down. Saying that it is hard to believe that two cocktails were not good and asking why my husband did not like the drinks. THEN, another manager came over to the table and started to argue with us. My husband said that was blatantly untrue, that he sent the drinks back immediately. The manager looked at us with contempt and said because you only complained at the end of the meal. My husband asked the rational for taking off one glass of wine (which he drank and which cost $1 dollar less than the cocktail he didn’t drink) and one cocktail. He came back and said he took off one cocktail and one glass of wine. After some back and forth, he walked away. The manager’s response was textbook incompetence. When the manager came over, my husband began by saying that the food was wonderful but he was surprised that he was charged for two drinks that he sent back. My husband asked to speak with the manager. However, we were charged for both drinks. We fully expected that when the bill came, we would not be charged for the two drinks that were sent back with one sip taken of each. We were a party of four and we ordered appetizers, main courses, desserts and other drinks. He proceeded to order two glasses of expensive wine and drank them both. My husband called the waitress over and said that neither drink was good, could she please take them away and that he would instead order wine. Please keep in mind that these drinks cost $20/each. In other words, the opposite of a single cube. The Old Fashion arrived with six tiny ice cubes that were attached (the type that comes from the freezer of a mini fridge). they had a single cube and she replied that they did. My husband took one sip and then asked the waitress for an Old Fashion. It was an awful and upsetting experience. We just returned from dinner at Juniper in Edwards.
